Balochistan disappearances: forces abducted another political activist

Occupying state forces continue to abduct Baloch youth with full impunity and their mutilated dead bodies bearing signs of extreme tortures and multiple bullet wounds continue to turn up on daily basis on roadsides and desolated places after detention and torture by occupying forces of Pakistan.

Latest case of arbitrary abduction by the intelligence agencies of Pakistan is reported from Mand, Balochistan, family of Baloch Republican Student Organization (BRSO) Central Committee member Abdul Wajid Mehsoodi s/o Abdul Hameed informed the news agencies that he has been abducted by the intelligence agencies of the occupying state on the evening of February 13  at Zero Point, Pasni when he was travelling from Karachi to his hometown Mand.

The abducted activist is a cousin of Shaheed Sher Mohammad Baloch, a central leader of Baloch Republican Party who was abducted along with other Baloch leaders Shaheed Ghulam Mohammad Baloch and Shaheed Lala Munir by the intelligence agencies of Pakistan and their mutilated dead bodies were found in Murghap area of Turbat.

Baloch Republican Party and Baloch Republican Student Organization has condemned the abduction of Abdul Wajid Mehsood in strong terms and stated that his abduction backs our opinion that the occupying state has no will to hold talks with Baloch and the only purpose of the drama of talks by the state is to befool the world about state atrocities in Balochistan.

BRP & BRSO vowed to continue their struggle for freedom and have stated that such cowardly acts of the occupying state forces cannot prevent them from raising voice against the state oppression and Human Rights Violations in Occupied Balochistan. The groups will hold a protest demonstration in front of Karachi press club against the illegal abduction of Wajid Mehsoodi Baloch

Military Offensives Continue, Forces killed BRP leader Jan Mohammad Bugti in Dera Bugti

Baloch Republican Party central spokesman Mir Sher Mohammad Bugti said military offenses by the occupying forces continue unabated in Balochistan and on one hand Pakistani politicians pretend to be willing for talks with Baloch and plays the drama of removing cases against Baloch leaders but on the other its forces continue their genocidal policies against Baloch nation.

He said Pakistani forces are carrying out major offensives against innocent Balochistan throughout Dera Bugti region and have violated the privacy of many houses during the raids; previous day Pakistani occupying forces raided the house of Baloch Republican Party leader in ZenKoh area of Dera Bugti.

Forces extra-judicially killed the aged leader Jan Mohammad Ramezai Bugti and abducted his sons and brothers and took them towards an undisclosed location. Harassed women and children of his family and looted all the livestock and other valuables of the house.

Sher Mohammad Bugti said we have already said that Baloch have no hope of any better from the occupying brutal state and its forces, all the claims of the state actors are just to confuse the world about the state atrocities in Occupied Balochistan, International Community must intervene in Balochistan without any delay and enable the Baloch nation to practice its rights for freedom and a sovereign state.

BRA ambushed FC convoy in Dera Bugti, killed 14 occupying troops – Sarbaz Baloch

Talking to the media personnel from an undisclosed location via a satellite phone the spokesman of Baloch Republican Army, Mr. Sarbaz Baloch claimed responsibility of different attacks carried out by his group.

Sarbaz Baloch told that BRA fighters, in past day, blown up gas pipelines of well no 35, 29 and 15 during different attacks in PirKoh area of Dera Bugti Balochistan suspending the gas supply from the mentioned wells to the purification plant.

He further said BRA Sarmachars injured an occupying forces personal appointed on the security of well no 75 in Sui.

He said that on Sunday, His group carried out an ambush attacking a convoy the occupying Para-military forces (Frontier Corps) of Pakistan with rocket launchers and other automatic weapons in “Toba” area of Dera Bugti.

As a result, All 14 personnel were killed and Baloch Republican Army fighters took the weapons of the killed troops into their custody and set on fire the vehicles before fleeing from the spot.

Sarbaz Baloch said during different activities BRA fighters blew up a gas pipeline in Zero-Point area and another one that of well number 2 in PirKoh on Sunday.

He vowed that Baloch Republican Army will continue its attacks on occupying forces till liberation of Balochistan

Mir Javed Mengal met Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti in Switzerland

Pro-Independence Baloch leaders Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti and Mir Javed Mengal met in Switzerland to discuss the situation of Balochistan. Mir Javed Mengal travelled to Switzerland to express his condolences with Nawab Brahumdagh Khan Bugti on the brutal killings of his Sister and niece by the intelligence agencies of Pakistan in Karachi.

According to Mir Sher Mohammad Bugti, the central committee spokesman of Baloch Republican Party (BRP), both leaders discussed the situation of Balochistan and exchanged views about the ongoing Human Rights Violations and atrocities of the occupying state of Pakistan in Balochistan.

Baloch leaders emphasized on Unity as the urgent need of time and have said that the only goal of Baloch national struggle is complete freedom of Balochistan and every Baloch must unite under this agenda to achieve the great goal. Both leaders agreed that Baloch nation must unite to accelerate the struggle against enforced occupation of their motherland. Unity is inevitable for success, sooner or later we all have to unite to succeed, leaders asserted.

“The Baloch who are not currently part of the national liberation movement, we request them to abandon their attempts to appease the occupying state and avoid wasting their time hoping for any good from the Punjabi imperialists. We invite them to join Baloch national struggle for freedom to strengthen the hands of Baloch, at the current situation world powers are watching Occupied Balochistan as a very important geo-political location, Baloch nation must unite and start a decisive struggle to break the yokes of Pakistani slavery once and for all” Baloch leaders discussed in the meeting

Mir Sher Mohammad Bugti said Baloch have no trust on the statements of any official of the occupying state and he further said when Interior Minister of the occupying state was announcing amnesty for exiled pro-independence Baloch leaders, on the other side another minister of the state was apposing his comments.

There is complete contradiction in words and actions of the official of the occupying state, on one hand they were calling for talks with the Baloch and on the other their forces were raiding the peaceful protest camp of relatives of Baloch Missing Persons protesting for recovery of their loved ones abducted by the intelligence agencies and para-military forces of the state, where father of Baloch martyred leader Shaheed Jaleel Reki was targeted – he added

He said there is no hope for good from the occupying state, International powers must intervene without any delay and help the Baloch nation get rid of brutalities and atrocities of Pakistan

 

 

Vice chairman of VBMP Abdul Qadeer Baloch arrested outside Karachi Press Club

Vice chairman of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons Abdul Qadeer Baloch has been arrested today by the Police of the occupying state Pakistan when he was taking part in a protest in front of Karachi Press Club against abductions and extra-judicially killings of Baloch people by the occupying forces of Pakistan in Balochistan.

He was transferred to TRR police station of Karachi after the fortuitous arrest.

He has always been peacefully protesting in Quetta, Karachi, and Islamabad against the arbitrary abduction and Kill and Dump campaign of the Pakistani forces in Balochistan which has claimed the lives of more than 400 Baloch youth including students, lawyers, poets, political activists and 14000+ are still missing. The numbers of abducted and killed Baloch is only increasing with every passing day.

Voice for Baloch Missing Persons and other pro-independence political parties allege that the missing persons are abducted by the FC, ISI, MI and other forces of the occupying state and are kept in torture cells for many days, months or years and eventually killed and dumped on roadsides, deserted and isolated places. Dead bodies of Baloch missing persons are found on daily basis.

In also need to be mention here that Abdul Qadeer Baloch is himself a family member of a victim of Kill and Dump policy of the occupying state. His son, Jaleel Reki a pro-independence Baloch leader and a central information secretary of Baloch Republican Party was abducted by Pakistani forces on February 13, 2009 outside the Girls Art School Kechi on Saryab road Quetta. He was extra-judicially detained and tortured by the forces for more than 2 years and his bullet-riddled dead body was recovered from Mand, Balochistan on November 23, 2011.

Abdul Qadeer Baloch was threatened by the forces of Pakistan to end his strike otherwise they’ll kill his Son but Abdul Qadeer Baloch didn’t end his protest and occupying forces killed and dumped his son fulfilling their threat. International Community and Media is appealed to pressurize Pakistani to immediately release Abdul Qadeer Baloch.

 

Did not meet Imran Khan, there will be no talks with occupying state less than Freedom – Nawabzada Hyrbyar Marri

Nawabzada Hyrbyar Marri, a pro-independence Baloch leader talking to a private television said that we have no trust on any institution or politician of the occupying state.

In answer to a question he said “I did not meet Imran Khan and neither do I have any trust on any politician of the occupying state nor I have any contacts with them”

“Pakistan has forcefully occupied Balochistan and we are struggling to regain our freedom” He added.

A full-scale genocide of the Baloch nation continues by the occupying state of Pakistan and we are raising voice on international forums and also holding talks and meetings with other Baloch leaders regarding this.

Nawabzada Hyrbyar Marri termed the resolution regarding the independence of Balochistan tabled by a US congressman as pleasant act and said that we are conveying to the world that Balochistan was an independent country and Pakistan has forcefully occupied it and since then committing a full-scale genocide of the Baloch nation and plundering the resources of their soil.

Demonstration held in Karachi against the custodial killing of Sana Sangat Baloch

Baloch Human Rights Organization and Voice for Baloch Missing Persons organized a protest demonstration in front Karachi press club against the extra-judicial killing and recovery of mutilated dead body of Baloch Republican Party leader Sana Sangat Baloch.

A large number of women, children, youth, aged-persons and relatives of Baloch missing persons participated in the demonstration to record their protest against the arbitrary abduction, torture and custodial killings of Baloch political activists and leaders.

Protesters were holding play cards and banners reading different slogans against enforced disappearances, Kill and Dump and state terrorism in Balochistan. Leaders addressing to the protestors said the dead body of Ex-BSO-A vice chairman and central leader of BRP Sana Sangat Baloch was recovered from Murghaap area of Turbat, Balochistan on February 13. The dead body bore marks of severe torture, 28 wounds of bullets in head and chest and many parts were fractured. The dead body was thrown from a helicopter and was not identifiable.

It was said that Shaheed Sana Sangat was abducted from Kolpur Mastung on December 07, 2009 by state forces. FIR of his abducted was filed on the complaint of his father Haji Jan Mohammad. Relatives of Baloch missing persons encamped in front of Karachi press club, Quetta and in front of parliament in Islamabad from last 2 years and organized sit-ins and hunger strike camps but all this went fruitless.

Sana Sangat recovered as bullet-riddled dead body after detention and torture of 22 months while dead bodies of Bashkiya Bugti, a resident of Lasbela and Jan Mohammad Marri from Othal were also recovered the very day. Both were abducted by intelligence agencies of Pakistan.

Besides, Mutilated dead body of 20 years old Saeed Ahmad Marri s/o Lal Khan Marri was recovered from Quetta, he was abducted two weeks ago in Margat during a military offensive.

The Addressee said the recovery of mutilated dead bodies of Baloch Missing Persons is a series of atrocities in Balochistan by the forces of Pakistan. Pakistani terrorism continues with intensity in Balochistan. The number of Baloch Missing Persons is increasing with every passing day. We have always expressed serious concerns over the lives of Baloch Missing Persons but the silent of Media and Human rights organizations have fueled the genocide of Baloch nation by Pakistani forces.

We appeal the claimant of human rights and supporters of the Pakistani state to compel the state to abide the international laws of Human Rights to put an end to the gross Human Rights violations by the state forces in Balochistan

Shutter down in Balochistan against custodial killing of Sana Sangat, Baloch parties demand action against occupying state

Shutter down strike was observed all over Occupied Balochistan to condemn custodial killing of Baloch Republican Party leader Sana Sangat Baloch. Educational institutions remained closed and less traffic was seen on the roads. Sana Sangat Baloch was abducted by Pakistani forces on December 08, 2008 from Kolpur area of Mastung Balochistan and his bullet-riddled and mutilated dead body was found from Murghaap, Turbat on February 13.

In present of a large number of mourners and relatives he was laid to rest in his ancestral cemetery in Kadkucha, Mastung. On the appeal of Baloch pro-independence political parties BRP, BNM and BSO-A, a complete shutter down strike was observed in Quetta, Mastung, Khuzdar, Kalat, Turbat, Hub, Mand, Noshki, Dalbandin, Kharan, Mashkey, Gawadar and other small and large town and cities of Balochistan.

Spokesman of Baloch Republican Party Mir Sher Mohammad Bugti said the genocidal policies of Pakistan accelerated after the US hearing on Balochistan. Pakistani forces killed and dumped dead bodies of Baloch leader Sana Sangat, Bashkiya Bugti and Jan Mohammad Marri. Instead of mere lip serves, USA and international community must take action against the occupying state of Pakistan on the grave violations of Human Rights by its forces in Occupied Balochistan.

He added “Forces, along with dead bodies of Jan Mohammad Marri and Bashkiya Bugti, dumped another Baloch also namely Dilawar s/o Sakander Bugti considering him dead but the local people shifted him to a nearby hospital, where he was acknowledged alive”

He said Bashkiya Bugti s/o Kamalan along with his brother Sikandar s/o Kamalan were abducted by occupying forces in 2011 and later dead body of Sikandar Bugti was found but Bashkiya was missing till recently.

Blood of Baloch martyrs are debt on the occupying state of Pakistan and we appeal to the US and international community to play their role to end the brutal genocide of Baloch nation and take action against the occupying state under international laws.

The central spokesman of Baloch Student Organization Azad in his recent statement also condemned the extra-judicial killing of BRP leader Sana Sangat Baloch and said the increasing reputation of Baloch movement on foreign surfaces has stunned the occupying state and its proof can be seen in recent raise of violence in Balochistan. Martyrdom of Sana Sangat Baloch will always remain unforgettable and a part of Baloch history. His ideology and bravery will always live in the heart of Baloch masses.

He said that the only fruition of Martyrdom of Shaheed Sana Sangat is freedom of Balochistan.

Baloch National Voice paid tribute to the great sacrifice of a prominent tribal leader Haji Jan Mohammad Marri, Sana Sangat Baloch, Bashkiya Bugti and Saeed Ahmad Marri. BNV said the international awareness of Baloch struggle has stunned the occupying forces and in a state of mindlessness they have intensified the custodial extra-judicial killings of Baloch political activists. Marks of inhuman torture on the dead body of Sana Sangat Baloch and extra-judicially killing of aged Haji Jan Mohammad Marri are prove of amentia of Pakistani forces.

BNV urged the international community to play its role to put an immediate halt on the recovery of bullet-riddled dead bodies of Baloch political activists and to openly support the freedom struggle of Baloch nation

Thought Sana will also come One day – Says Sister of Shaheed Sana Sangat Baloch

Zarina Baloch, Sister of Martyred Baloch leader Sana Sangat didn’t participated in the funeral of his brother and remained in Karachi and prefers to continue her protest against the arbitrary abductions and extra-judicial killings of Baloch political activists by occupying Pakistani forces in Balochistan.

She says she realized to continue the protest to let the world know what is happening in Balochistan and she did not go to the funeral of his brother along with other relatives.

She said “They (the occupying forces of Pakistan) dumped the dead body of Shaheed Sana Sangat bearing wounds of 28 bullets and marks of severe and inhuman torture as if he (Shaheed Sana Sangat) had annihilated someone. I don’t consider it (Pakistan) an Islamic state” She added.

Sana’s only crime was demanding the just right for his people and the occupying forces abducted and killed him but they should keep in mind that if they kill one, hundreds of other Baloch will come and join the national struggle.

Shaheed Sana Sangat was abducted from Kolpure area of District Mastung on December 08, 2008 and his relatives tried all the possible ways for his release.

Sana was third among his five brothers and was unmarried.

Sana’s father is a Retail Merchant and he was present in the Karachi protest 3 days back. There he received the news of martyrdom of his son.

Haji Jan Mohammad told that during the last two years he visited every place, went before Supreme Court and High Court. Besides he also sought help from the commission which was set up for the recovery of missing persons and other than this attended four hearings before the Deputy Commissioner Dhadar but all this brought no result”

He said “On a face to face hearing with the Deputy Commissioner, a colonel had said they (The Missing Baloch) receive training in Afghanistan, commit crimes here and again return back to Afghanistan and they are not in our custody”

Haji Jan Mohammad said the Commissioner also had a picture of his son and i know that the intelligence agencies of Pakistan have abducted him however since some months we started hoping his release.

Four Baloch with Sana Sangat in custody of Pakistani forces were released and Sana gave them those contacts of mine and his brother. They contacted, met us and told that Sana is alive. WE THOUGHT SANA WILL ALSO COME ONE DAY – said Zarina Baloch.

Another Baloch political leader from Mastung, Zakir Majeed is also missing from 2009. His sister Farzana Baloch says during a hearing in Supreme court of Pakistan, its chief justice solace her to go home, her brother will come but there are only dead bodies coming homes.

“My mother is critically ill, she is worried about his son a lot, whenever we hear about the recovery of bullet-riddled dead bodies of Baloch missing persons, we fear the same for my missing brother” Said Farzana

In recent weeks, the issue of Balochistan is raised on local and international levels; a sub-committee of US Congress has expressed concerns over the human rights violations in Balochistan. Pakistan called the US hearing an “ill-advised” one and a unanimous resolution was submitted in the National Assembly of Pakistan against it.

Chairman of Voice for Baloch Baloch Missing Persons Abdul Qadeer Baloch adjudge these killings as a reaction of US concerns. He says “We do not hope a halt in recovery of bullet-riddled dead bodies in Balochistan because when the occupying forces were attacked in Chamalang, Balochistan. We received 5 corpses in reaction”.

Pakistani forces extra-judicially killed Baloch leader Sana Sangat Baloch, BRA executed 8 troops in retaliation

Sana Sangat Baloch, a pro-independence Baloch political leader and Central committee member of Baloch Republican Party was abducted by the intelligence agencies of occupying state Pakistan on December 08, 2009 from Kolpur area of Bolan, Balochistan. Prior to his abduction, several assassination attempts were made on him by the occupying forces of Pakistan.

He was kept in several jails and torture cells during 2 years of imprisonment and was inhumanly tortured to defeat his soul and turn it against the National liberation Movement. But all attempts of the occupying state to bend him went in vain and the brave leader kept the honor the words of Shaheed-e-Azam Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti when he said “We the Baloch will be beheaded but will never bow our head before the enemy”.

Eventually he was killed by the occupying forces and his bullet-riddled dead body was found from Murghap, Turbat today (On February 13, 2012). It needs to be mentioned here that Muraghap is the same place where the occupying forces of Pakistan killed and dumped dead bodies of three prominent Baloch leaders Shaheed Sher Mohammad Baloch, Shaheed Ghulam Mohammad Baloch and Lala Munir on April 3, 2009 after abducting them from the office of Advocate Kachkol Ali, a Baloch lawyer.

On the other side, Baloch Republican Army, an armed force struggling for independent Balochistan has claimed responsibility of killing of 8 personnel of occupying forces in retaliation of custodial extra-judicial killing of the Baloch leader Sangat Sana Baloch.

BRA spokesman Sarbaz talking to the media personnel said that BRA fighters attacked a vehicle of Pakistani police with a remote controlled explosive device in Dera Murad Jamali where 3 including an officer were killed and more than 10 were wounded.

In a separate activity, he continued, BRA Sarmachars attacked a checkpost of occupying Pakistani forces in Chattar area of Naseerabad, Balochistan and killed 5 troops of the occupying state and took in custody 8 guns and eventually detonated and destroyed the post completely with explosive. He added.

Sarbaz Baloch declared the attack as a retaliation of the extra-judicial killing of the Baloch Leader Sana Sangat Baloch and vowed to continue attacks till liberation of Balochistan.
